Turnovers on the money market in the week of 20–24 July 2026

The Czech National Bank conducts the money market average daily turnover survey four times a year, specifically in January, April, July, and October.

Compared to the April survey results, the average daily turnover of deposit operations increased from CZK 45.9 billion to CZK 47 billion, driven by a growth in transactions with residents. Their share of the total turnover rose from 4.5% to 11.3%. In terms of maturity, operations with maturities between 1W and 1M dominated once again, accounting for 50.6% of the total turnover. The turnover of repo operations increased compared to the previous period (by 6.4%), with their share of the total turnover reaching 51%.

The turnover of derivative operations, specifically IRS (Interest Rate Swaps) and FRA (Forward Rate Agreements), declined compared to the April data (by 1% and 29%, respectively). FRA transactions were executed exclusively with non-residents.
