The Foreign Exchange Act mainly governs the activities of so-called foreign exchange entities carrying on cash bureau-de-change activities (non-cash exchange is governed by the Payment System Act), i.e. bureaux-de-change. In addition, this act imposes some obligations on residents and non-residents.
