Division of responsibilities of the CNB Bank Board

At its meeting on 29 June 2023, the Bank Board approved a new division of responsibilities of its members for overseeing the Czech National Bank’s departments.

Division of responsibilities among CNB Bank Board members with effect from 30 June 2023:

Governor Aleš Michl

  • General Secretariat
  • Administration Department
  • Human Resources Department

Deputy Governor Eva Zamrazilová

  • Monetary Department
  • Financial Markets Department
  • Resolution Department

(with effect from 16 July 2023, the Financial Markets Department and the Resolution Department will merge into the Financial Markets and Resolution Department)

  • Financial Market Supervision Department
  • Internal Audit Department

Bank Board member Karina Kubelková

  • Financial Stability Department
  • Cash Department

Bank Board member Tomáš Holub

  • Statistics and Data Support Department
  • Information Systems Department

(with effect from 1 October 2023, the CNB will transfer the duties of the Licensing and Enforcement Department to Financial Market Supervision Department II)

The Bank Board manages the CNB’s organisational units as a collective body. As part of their responsibilities, the executive directors of departments report to the Bank Board about the management of the areas of competence delegated to them.
