New division of responsibilities for the Board members
At its meeting today, the CNB Bank Board approved a new division of responsibilities for the Board members with effect from 1 March 2005. According to the CNB Organisational Manual, the Board members are entrusted with overseeing the Bank's core activities as performed by the organisational units of the CNB's headquarters and branches.

Luděk Niedermayer, Vice-Governor

- Administration Department
- Communications Department
Miroslav Singer, Vice-Governor
- Human Resources Department
- Budget and Accounting Department
- Economic Research Department
Michaela Erbenová, Chief Executive Director
- Banking Regulation and Supervision Department
Jan Frait, Chief Executive Director
- Monetary and Statistics Department
Robert Holman, Chief Executive Director

- Risk Management and Transactions Support Department
Pavel Řežábek, Chief Executive Director

The Board also decided to establish a separate Communications Department with effect from 1 March 2005. Until now, this unit has been part of the CNB's General Secretariat. Pavlína Bolfová has been appointed Executive Director of this department. She remains CNB Spokeswoman.
