Conference on fintech regulation and inclusion in the

The Czech National Bank, together with the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), is co-organising the international conference “Global Dialogue on Regulatory Approaches for Inclusive FinTech” on 26 and 27 September 2019. The conference is aimed at representatives of the financial market regulators of advanced and emerging economies as part of their regular dialogue, which will also discuss an improvement in access to financial services in connection with financial market innovation.

The conference, to be attended by 80 experts from the entire world including CNB representatives, aims to exchange information and advance discussions on the regulatory approaches and strategies of supervisory authorities and central banks to innovation and inclusion. The participants can share their experience not only in the main blocks of lectures, but also during simulations of the key regulatory and supervisory solutions.

The panelists at the conference include the representatives of both central banks and AFI member institutions (from Argentina, Armenia, China, Kazakhstan, Kenya and Thailand) and European regulators, namely from Estonia, Finland, Luxembourg and Spain. The event will also be attended by the representatives of fintech companies, including Czech Spendee.
