The CNB comments on the February 2004 inflation figures

The Czech Statistical Office today released the consumer price inflation figures for February
2004. The actual year-on-year consumer price growth of 2.3% was fully in line with the CNB's
January forecast.
The CNB continues to expect annual consumer price inflation to pick up further during 2004 to
above 3%, primarily due to further changes to indirect taxes, growth in regulated prices and a
modest acceleration of annual market price growth.
