Quarterly financial accounts

Part of Macroeconomic Statistics

The quarterly financial accounts capture financial relationships within the economy, including relations with the rest of the world. They monitor stocks and flows of financial assets and liabilities by economic sector and financial instrument. The system links financial balance sheets with financial transactions, revaluations and other changes in the volume of assets, making it possible to monitor the sources of changes in the financial position of individual sectors over time.
