The macroeconomic statistics provide data on developments in the Czech economy as a whole, on individual economic sectors and on the Czech Republic’s relations with the rest of the world. These statistics include, in particular, the balance of payments, the international investment position, government finance statistics and the quarterly financial accounts. They serve the needs of the European System of Central Banks, the European Statistical System and the Czech National Bank’s economic analyses. They also fulfil the Czech Republic's international obligations under the SDDS Plus standard and thus meet the needs of the wider international expert community.
