Biography
Adam Kučera (b. 1989 in Písek) received his PhD in Economics from the Institute of Economic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague. He has been with the Czech National Bank since 2015, working continuously in the Financial Stability Department. Since 2023, he has served as Deputy Director of the Macroprudential Policy Division. His research focuses on two main areas: initially on yield curve modelling and financial market instruments in a broad sense, and more recently on household and bank sector simulations for financial stability purposes.
