CALL FOR PAPERS
The Czech National Bank is pleased to announce the Third Annual CNB Conference on monetary policy and financial stability. The conference offers a forum for researchers and policymakers to present new theoretical and empirical work, exchange perspectives, and engage with both academics and central bank professionals.
The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Heterogeneity and Monetary Policy Transmission
- Role of Expectations in Monetary Policy Conduct
- Advancing the Bank’s Modelling and Forecasting tools
- Monetary Policy in a Small Open Economy
- Geoeconomic Fragmentation and Financial Stability
- High Public Debt, Sovereign Risk, and Financial Stability
- Commercial and Residential Real Estate Risks
The workshop will include keynote speech by Luc Laeven (European Central Bank).
Submission
Authors are invited to submit theoretical and empirical papers on the aforementioned topics. Submissions should consist of either a full paper or an extended abstract and should be submitted through the Submission form.
Submission deadline: April 19, 2026
Notification of acceptance: May 1, 2026
Conference date: June 22-23, 2026

The conference will be held in person at the Czech National Bank in Prague, Czech Republic. Economy class travel expenses and accommodation (both subject to price limits) may be covered for academic speakers. Participants from central banks are expected to cover their own travel expenses.
