Publication of 1995–2007 government finance statistics data

The Czech National Bank, in agreement with the Czech Statistical Office, is for the first time publishing the government finance statistics data in the form in which they are sent to the European Central Bank in connection with the spring and autumn government deficit and debt notifications. The data cover general government revenue and expenditure (in total and broken down by individual subsectors), government deficit and government debt and the manner of financing thereof. The data are produced primarily by the Czech Statistical Office in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Czech National Bank. The Czech National Bank believes that the publication of a comprehensive time series of annual data since 1995 will facilitate public access to such data and the use thereof. The data will be regularly updated on 1 July of the current year.
