Issuance of a gold 2,500 Kč coin Klementinum National Heritage Site in Prague (Observatory) from the Industrial Heritage Sites cycle
On 11 October 2006, the Czech National Bank will issue a gold coin entitled 'National Heritage Site Klementinum - Observatory", with a face value of CZK 2,500, from the Industrial Heritage Sites cycle. The coin was minted by the Czech Mint (Česká Mincovna) in Jablonec nad Nisou from gold of 999.9 purity in two versions - normal and proof quality - with a high polish and a matt relief.
To mark the issuance of this gold coin, an official ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday 11 October 2006 in the Mirror Chapel at Clementinum, attended by CNB Governor Zdeněk Tůma and a number of other Bank Board members, as well as the designer of the coin and other VIPs.
