President appoints new CNB Bank Board members
The President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus today at Prague Castle appointed three new members to the Bank Board of the Czech National Bank. Zdeněk Tůma will remain CNB Governor for a further six-year term. The new Bank Board members with effect from 13 February 2005 are Miroslav Singer, who has been named Vice-Governor, and Robert Holman and Pavel Řežábek.
Vice-Governor Luděk Niedermayer (whose mandate runs to 26 February 2008) and Chief Executive Directors Michaela Erbenová and Jan Frait (whose mandates end on 1 December 2006) remain Bank Board members.
