Plzeňská banka, a.s.: CNB's decision on the revocation of the banking licence

On 23 May 2003, Plzeňská banka, a.s. was passed on the CNB's decision on the revocation of the banking licence due to the persistence of serious shortcomings in the liquidity area and the decline in capital adequacy ratio below 1/3 of the limit. The bank has now a fifteen-day period for lodging an appeal against the decision.
