Cutting 2W repo rate

At its meeting today, the CNB Board decided to cut the 2W repo rate by 0.25 percentage points, from 6.25% to 6%. At the same time, it decided to cut the Lombard rate from 10% to 8% and the discount rate from 6% to 5.5%. The new rates are effective from 3 September 1999.
