CNB economists awarded Austrian National Bank prize
Jan Brůha and Jiří Podpiera have won the Austrian National Bank’s “Olga Radzyner Award” for their paper “Transition Economy Convergence in a Two Country Model: Implications for Monetary Integration”. The award is aimed at supporting the work of young scientists from Central, Eastern and South-eastern Europe focused on European integration issues. The award was conferred on the authors at the Conference on European Economic Integration held in Vienna on 19–20 November 2007.
Jan Brůha and Jiří Podpiera work in the External Economic Relations Division of the CNB’s Monetary and Statistics Department.
