CNB Bank Board divides responsibilities as from 1 December 2018

The Bank Board of the Czech National Bank decided on a new division of responsibilities of its members as from 1 December, when the Board’s line-up will change.

New member Tomáš Holub will supervise the Financial Markets Department and the Licensing and Enforcement Department. The other new member Aleš Michl will be responsible for the Statistics and Data Support Department and the Information Systems Department.

The newly appointed Vice-Governor Marek Mora will supervise the Financial Market Regulation and International Cooperation Department, the Administration Department and the Resolution Department. Tomáš Nidetzký, who will also become Vice-Governor on 1 December 2018, will be responsible for both financial market supervision departments and the Financial Stability Department.

The Bank Board manages the organisational units of the CNB’s headquarters and branches and regional offices as a collective body. As part of their responsibilities, the executive directors of departments report to the Bank Board about the management of the areas of competence delegated to them.

The division of responsibilities among the CNB Bank Board members as from 1 December 2018 will be as follows:
