New Director of the CNB’s Financial Market Analyses Division

Ivan Zahrádka will become the new director of the Financial Market Analyses Division of the Financial Market Regulation and Analyses Department at the Czech National Bank on 20 October 2010.

Ivan Zahrádka (45) graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague. He worked at Citibank, Expandia Investments and Czech and foreign companies of Pioneer Investment Group, where he held various posts in the area of banking and the financial market. In 2005–2006, he was Director of the Securities Issues Division of the Czech Securities Commission. From 2007 he worked as a private consultant on economic issues for private clients. He speaks English, German and Russian.
