CNB decision regarding the insurance company AIG CZECH REPUBLIC

In accordance with Article 33(6) of Act No. 363/1999 Coll., on Insurance, as amended, the Czech National Bank hereby announces that its decision to withdraw the authorisation of AIG CZECH REPUBLIC pojišťovna. a.s., registered address V Celnici 1031/4, 110 00 Praha 1, to carry on insurance and re-insurance activities took effect on 3 July 2008. The authorisation was withdrawn at the company's own request and the withdrawal is not in any way a penalty. On the same date, the company went into liquidation under Article 33(2) of the above Act.
