Change in the publication of the CNB ten-day balance sheet

The timetable for the publication of CNB data for 2007, published on the CNB website in December 2006, contains a significant change in the publication of the CNB ten-day balance sheet as from April 2007.

From 4 April 2007 (the date of publication of the CNB ten-day balance sheet as of 31 March 2007), the ten-day balance sheets will be regularly published on the third working day following the end of the ten-day period (instead of the fifth working day as has been the case to date), owing to a shorter time needed to process and check the data.

The ten-day balance sheet will be published at 3 p.m. on the day the statement is signed. This will bring the CNB's procedure more closely into line with the publication of the consolidated weekly financial statement of the Eurosystem and the publication of the CNB's exchange rate fixing. Neither the content nor the form of the data published will change.
