Announcement of the Czech National Bank on a change in the extent of exchange rates publishing as of 2.1. 2007

With effect from 1 January 2007 Slovenia will adopt Euro, which will replace the local currency Slovenian Tolar (SIT).

In connection with this change the Czech National Bank will implement a change in the extent of exchange rate publishing with effect from 2 January 2007. The exchange rates effective from 29 December 2006, which will be set on 29 December 2006, will be published in the existing extent.

The new list of exchange rates effective from 2 January 2007, which will be set on 2 January 2007, will not contain the Slovenian Tolar.

Under the Act on Accounting and other legal norms, the exchange rates are used for non-business purposes (valuing assets and liabilities, tax and customs proceedings, etc).
