BB meeting: economic analyses for the assessment of the degree of alignment with the euro area

At its meeting on 20 October 2005, the Bank Board of the Czech National Bank discussed the set of economic analyses used, among other things, as a basis for the assessment of the present degree of alignment of the Czech economy with the euro area. This assessment is prepared on the basis on The Czech Republic's Euro-area Accession Strategy and is part of the material presented each year to the Czech Government by the Minister of Finance in co-operation with the Minister of Industry and Trade and the Governor of the Czech National Bank.

The Bank Board has decided to publish this set of analyses, once it has been completed, on the CNB's website at the end of November 2005.
