The position of Czech exporters on the German market by comparison with Poland
The German economy has been searching for a new growth model. This is also proving challenging for its main trading partners. So far, Czech exporters have maintained a solid position in Germany. However, their exports are still concentrated in sectors where they gained their position at the start of the millennium. Polish exports are strong competition for Czech exporters, as Polish exporters have been successful across a whole range of products over the last decade, including the sectors predominant in Czech exports.
