Sharing data
ARAD offers several ways to share indicators, sets and your own selections: a URL, an import code or indicator codes.
Each option suits a different situation and transfers a different amount of information.
Sharing a URL
Some screens have an icon for copying a link to the currently open part of the application.
The link can point to, for example:
- a specific indicator,
- a set with the selected parameters,
- the basket’s contents,
- a saved selection,
- the Indicators page with a particular branch and filters.

Linking to filtered indicators
On the Indicators page, you can copy a link to the tree with the filtered group of indicators. The link preserves the current branch and filter settings.
Use this option to share the context of your work in the tree rather than a permanently saved selection definition.

Sharing an import code
Saved selections can be shared using an import code that transfers the selection definition to another user’s account.
The code contains the selection definition, not the data itself.
The recipient:
- Opens the My selections page.
- Chooses Upload selection.
- Selects the Import by code tab and pastes the received code.
- Saves the selection to their account.
The imported selection works like any other selection. It can be viewed in a table or chart, edited or renamed.

Sharing indicator codes
Each indicator has its own code, which can be used to create a new selection.
In My selections, you can create a selection by entering one or more indicator codes. Copy an indicator’s code from the Indicators tree or its details in a table or chart.
This is a simple way to share a small number of indicators, particularly for technical use or subsequent bulk creation of selections.
Quickly sharing the basket’s contents
To quickly share a combination of indicators from the basket:
- Add the indicators to the basket.
- Open them in a table.
- Use the copy URL feature next to Selected indicators.
The resulting URL contains the indicator codes and opens the same table for the recipient.
