Chart view

A chart displays changes in one or more indicators as a line chart. You can switch to a chart directly from a table, the basket, a set or a saved selection.

Setting the period

The period settings work in the same way as in a table. Use a preset, such as the last year, 5 years, 10 years or all available data, or enter a custom range.

Confirm the change by clicking Refresh.

Working with multiple indicators in a chart

A chart can display multiple indicators at once. Click an indicator in the legend to hide or show it.

When interpreting the results, take account of the units and frequency of each time series.

Available chart features

In a chart, you can:

• display multiple indicators at once,
• change the period range,
• show and hide indicators using the legend,
• change how labels are displayed,
• adjust the scale or display units,
• enable View for publication,
• export the current chart as a PNG image.

Publication mode

Enable View for publication to prepare a chart for presentations, printing or inclusion in documents. This opens a panel with additional appearance settings.

These settings include:

• chart dimensions,
• logo size and position,
• display of the data source,
• line styles,
• text size,
• display of the legend,
• display of units or the title.
