Ways to access data

ARAD offers several ways to access data. Each supports a different way of working, from a quick overview to a detailed selection of specific indicators.

These options are available in the application’s top menu.

Indicators

The complete ARAD indicator database is available under Indicators in the top menu.

Indicators are organised in a tree by economic and statistical domain. You can refine the selection using filters based on the indicators’ descriptive properties.

On the Indicators page, the icon between the filter area and the indicator list copies a link that preserves the selected tree branch and filters. Use the link to return to the same selection or share it with another user.

Sets

Sets are available under Sets in the top menu. They are logical groups of related indicators, providing a quick view of a selected data domain.

Sets do not cover all indicators available in ARAD. To browse the complete database, use Indicators.

Use the filters above the list of sets to select a particular data domain or set variant.

My selections

To create your own selection, add indicators to the basket and save its contents under a name of your choice. Unlike predefined sets, selections contain indicators chosen by you. Selections are saved to your user account, so this feature requires you to sign in.

You can share a saved selection using an import code. Another user can use Import by code to import the selection of indicators into their own account.
