Working with multiple indicators

ARAD lets you display multiple indicators at once. You can select indicators from across the database, for example in Indicators or Sets, and add them to the basket.

Basket

The basket temporarily holds indicators you want to display together or save as your own selection.

Add indicators by selecting the checkbox next to their name in the list or using the corresponding icon.

The number of selected indicators appears in the top bar next to the basket icon or Selected indicators.

What you can do with the basket

You can:

  • select indicators from different database domains,
  • display them together in a table or chart,
  • add or remove individual indicators,
  • empty the basket,
  • save its contents as your own selection,
  • use its contents to prefill API Builder.

WARNING

The basket is temporary. The basket’s contents are not automatically saved when you leave the page. To keep the selection, use Save basket as selection.

Adding indicators in bulk

On the Indicators page, an icon lets you add or remove all indicators matching the current selection.

You can add up to 1,000 indicators to the basket at once. If the current filter returns more, narrow the selection first.

Saved selections

To keep a selection of indicators after signing out or for a later visit, save the basket’s contents as a selection.

Saved selections belong to your user account and are available under My selections in the menu.

Labels

Use labels to organise your selections by topic, priority or any other criteria that help you find them. Labels also let you quickly filter and search your selections.
