How do I export data?

Data displayed in a table can be exported to MS Excel or CSV. Compared with MS Excel, CSV is a more universal, platform-independent format for further processing.

Charts can be exported as PNG images. Before exporting, you can enable View for publication to adjust their appearance.

Exporting a table

The export preserves the current data display settings, particularly:

  • the type of indicator labels,
  • the period range,
  • the row and column transposition settings.

CSV export

CSV is suitable for further automated or technical processing. The decimal separator follows the current ARAD setting and can also be changed directly in the export dialog.

MS Excel export

Exporting to MS Excel (XLSX format) is suitable for everyday spreadsheet work. In XLSX files, the displayed decimal separator may depend on the regional settings of the user’s computer.

Exporting a chart

You can export the current chart as a PNG image. For outputs intended for publication, we recommend enabling View for publication and adjusting the chart’s appearance first.
