Petra Krmelová to head up communications at the CNB

Petra Krmelová is to head up the Communications Division of the Czech National Bank from 1 October 2022. The Bank Board decided on her appointment at its meeting on 15 September 2022.

Petra Krmelová graduated in journalism and mass communication from the Faculty of Arts at Palacký University in Olomouc. She also graduated from the Faculty of Education at the same university. She started her professional career as editor-in-chief of the Prima TV’s regional office in Zlín. Later she worked at Czech Television as reporter and presenter of the CT24 Economics, CT24 Studio and Studio 6 programmes. She worked as editor and presenter of the Business column at Seznam News from 2018 until now.
