Call for Research Projects 2011

The deadline for project submission has passed. The next Call for Research Projects 2011 will be announced in April 2010. Information about previous Call is available below.

The Economic Research and Financial Stability Department (ERFSD) of the Czech National Bank (CNB) is organising a regular Call for Research Projects 2010. The ERFSD Director’s invitation letter can be downloaded from this website. The letter explains the conditions of the Call and gives a list of priority topics and the contact details of the research coordinators supervising each research area.

Please download the project proposal form, which includes instructions on how to prepare the research project proposal.

Authors are expected to present well-focused, high quality projects covering the 2010 priority topics, which are derived from the research priorities (see CNB Economic Research 2007–2012).

All interested researchers from both within and outside the CNB are invited to participate. Be advised, however, that each research team must consist of at least one expert from the CNB. The expected scope of the Call is 20–25 projects.

Please do not hesitate to contact the research coordinators, who will provide you with further information on how to complete your application effectively in terms of both focusing your research on the priority topics and meeting the formal requirements. Please also be advised that incomplete or late submissions will not be considered. Projects (both the pre-prepared form and the research description) must be submitted to the following e-mail address:

We organize an informational meeting for the Call for Research Projects 2010. It will be held on 26 May 2009 after the CNB Research Open Day at 14.00 in Commodity Exchange building.
