Financial Market Committee
The Financial Market Committee is an advisory body to the Bank Board of the Czech National Bank for financial market supervision. It was established on the basis of Article 45a(1) of Act No. 6/1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended. The Committee monitors and discusses general frameworks, strategies and approaches to financial market supervision, significant new trends in the financial market and the supervision or regulation thereof, and systemic national and international issues regarding the financial market and the supervision thereof.
Composition of the Financial Market Committee
- RNDr. Luděk Niedermayer (Chairman) – elected by the Budget Committee of the Chamber of Deputies
- Ing. Petr Koblic (Vice-Chairman) – elected by the Budget Committee of the Chamber of Deputies
- Ing. Josef Beneš – elected by the Budget Committee of the Chamber of Deputies
