On 8 November 2002, CNB Chief Executive Director and Bank Board member Pavel Racocha and NBS Vice-Governor Ivan Šramko signed in Prague an 'Agreement on Co-operation between the Czech National Bank and the National Bank of Slovakia". The subject of this agreement is banking supervision on a consolidated basis. This document enables the two supervisory authorities to exchange information on the banks in their respective countries for the purposes of consolidated supervision.
