Change in rates: 2W repo rate 12.5%, discount rate 10%, Lombard rate 15%

At its meeting today, the CNB Board evaluated the current monetary development and decided to cut

  • the CNB two-week repo rate from 13.5% to 12.5%,
  • the discount rate from 11.5% to 10%,
  • the Lombard rate from 16% to 15%.

The newly set interest rates come into effect on 27 October 1998.
