Where can invalid CZK 50 banknotes be exchanged, and until when?

The CZK 50 banknote ceased to be legal tender on 1 April 2011. From April 2012 to 31 March 2017, exchange is possible at branches of the Czech National Bank, which are located in seven Czech cities: Ústí nad Labem, Plzeň, České Budějovice, Hradec Králové, Brno, Ostrava and Prague.

The invalid banknotes will be exchanged for free.

Banks are entitled to charge a fee for work relating to the sorting of banknotes if CZK 50 banknotes are submitted together with other denominations.
