Unfair commercial practices

Pursuant to Act No. 36/2008 Coll., practices of a trader in respect of a consumer are deemed to be unfair commercial practices if they are contrary to the requirements of professional diligence and are capable of appreciably affecting the consumer’s decision-making, thereby causing him to take a transactional decision that he would not have taken otherwise. Misleading commercial practices and aggressive commercial practices are automatically referred to as unfair practices.
