Equipment testing
Due to the issuance of new 5000 CZK banknotes (version 2023) on 25 October 2023 the Czech National Bank invites all the manufacturers and representatives of the banknote equipment and sorting machines manufacturers for a free-of-charge re-testing in accordance with Article IV clause 6 of the Official Announcement of the Czech National Bank, dated 21 June 20018, on the Organisation of Testing and Supervision of the Banknote and Coin Handling Equipment Testing by the Czech National Bank. Applications for retesting can be sent from 25 October 2023. The re-testing shall ideally be completed by the end of 2023, but no later than 28 June 2024, because the validity of the existing certification will expire on 30 June 2024.
