Technical assistance provided by the Czech National Bank
Foreword
Dear colleagues,
I have pleasure in presenting you with this brochure containing details of the topics and dates of the seminars prepared by the Czech National Bank for 2012.
As the years go by we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of organising technical assistance seminars next year. The seminars we started with covered the CNB’s experience with economic transformation, while later we discussed topics related to European Union accession and also our ESCB membership. We really appreciate the fact that our seminars have met the expectations of international audiences from the central banks of countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Southern Balkans and Central and Eastern Europe.
We hope the topics offered, which are updated each new season, are interesting and meet your priorities. In 2012 we offer after a one-year gap the seminar on the EU and International Organisations covering the current challenges from the perspective of the central bank. We have also decided to include a new seminar called the Central Banking as an introduction to the functioning of the central bank for junior staff of central banks.
The Czech National Bank is also ready to offer its know-how on specific subjects and to welcome small groups of your experts for brief visits on a tailor-made basis. Please do not hesitate to contact the General Secretariat (technical assistance team) if you are interested in the expertise we can provide. You are always welcome to send us any queries you have regarding our seminars and possible bilateral consultations.
