Functions and features of the new version of ARAD

Navigation using active links - faster backward browsing through the tree, direct return to any position in the tree.
The text describing the tree branch is also active- in the previous version, only the icon was active - faster browsing.

Methodology tab - contains a reference to the methodological sheet. A new approach to News and FAQ relating to a specific report was introduced - information on changes in the data.
Chart - selected indicators can be viewed as charts.
Print version - output is formatted excluding the menu to one or more A4 pages depending on the number of columns.
Choice of periodicity - monthly/quarterly/annual. When selecting data it is possible to choose a periodicity longer than the original frequency of the data in the data source (e.g. quarterly or annual periodicity for originally monthly data). For such a choice only data for the last period in the given periodicity (e.g. only for the last month of the quarter or the last day of the year) will be selected for all time series - both stock and flow data.
Decimal places - the old version of ARAD formatted numbers with one decimal place. A default option was added, enabling each user to set the number of decimal places as defined when creating the report.
Decimal delimiter - given the different requirements of end users and the different settings in their user environments, the new version offers both options. The default values in the Czech and English versions are comma and dot, respectively.

Print version - fast reformatting for printing.
Full screen - full screen mode for improved work with the data sheet.
Chart - selected indicators can be viewed as charts.
Lock Date Column button - for easier viewing of the results of data selection (only IE6+).
Lock Column Header - for easier viewing of the results of data selection (only IE6+ and Firefox 1.5+).
Highlighting the current cursor line - following mouse movement.
Permanent highlighting of a line - by clicking on the line; the highlighting can be cancelled by clicking again.
Sort by Date Column - fast data sorting.

The new version went live on 8 December 2006.
