General summary of the number of established and dissolved entities in the selected period

This function displays the number of entities established and dissolved in the selected period according to selected criteria. Summaries of the number of established and dissolved entities can be created for any time period starting 01 January 2009.

Procedure for creating a summary of the number of established and dissolved entities
The parameters Start of period and End of period define the interval for which the number of established or dissolved entities will be displayed. The parameter Start of period can not be prior to 01 January 2009.

The summary of the number of entities can be sorted in the following ways:
  • in alphabetical order - the summary is sorted in an alphabetical order of the entities' names
  • by entity type
    • regulated and related entities supervised by the Czech National Bank
    • registered and listed entities, i.e. those which are only registered/listed by the Czech National Bank and not supervised by it
    • entities providing cross-border services based on notifications under the single licence
  • by sector - the summary of entities is divided according to financial market subsectors (banks, credit unions, collective investment funds, etc.).
A more detailed structure of the number of entities in selected categories can be obtained by clicking on "accept" in the "Hierarchy" field. This option will display the number of entities in a pre-defined hierarchy (usually sorted by capital origin - Czech and foreign - or by type, for example in the case of funds).

The resulting report displays the number of established and dissolved entities meeting the selected criteria as of the selected date. Click on the number of established and dissolved entities to display the list of these entities in a new window.
